WHAT:

In order to better serve you and for increased performance, AtlantisNet will be performing a server hardware and software upgrade on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 9:00 PM Pacific Time. At this time, all SMTP, IMAP, POP3 and WebMail E-mail services will be unavailable until the upgrade is complete.

This upgrade consists of moving your mailbox to a new server powered by the latest version of SmarterMail.

No configuration changes will be necessary on your end. The new E-mail server will retain the same host name, IP address, user names and passwords as the old server. You will not need to make any changes to your email account settings on your computer, mobile device or within any software and scripts.

The only difference you will notice is the redesigned WebMail system. For a screenshot of the new WebMail system, please visit:

No incoming E-mail will be lost. Our gateway mail servers will spool all incoming mail and deliver it to the new server and into your mailbox once the upgrade is complete.

WHO WILL BE AFFECTED:

All AtlantisNet customers who use our shared email server known as mail.atlantisnet.com. If you are reading this email, then you will be affected.

ESTIMATED TIME OF REESTABLISHMENT OF SERVICE:

Installation of upgrades should take no more than four (4) hours and be finished by 1:00 AM PST on Monday, June 13, 2011.
